Xiropigado Beach in Santorini is located in the central part of the east coast of the island, approximately 2.5 km from the village of Vourvoulos. Xiropigado is situated close to two popular beaches: Pori and Vourvoulos. However, this is a wild beach. It is not organized at all. There are no sunbeds, umbrellas, beach bars, restaurants or any other attractions and amenities here.
Natural conditions
The beach surface consists of small, and medium size gray pebbles. The shore close to the sea is flat, while further inland there are steep cliffs. It is practically a wild, and thus quite secluded beach.
Xiropigado Attractions
About 350 meters from the beach is Taxiárchis PanormÃtis church. In addition, right next to the church there is a four-star hotel with a swimming pool, which enjoys very good opinions among its guests. Wine lovers will find something for themselves, as there is a vineyard about 4 km from the beach, where you can treat yourself to wine tasting with snacks.
Access to the beach
You can get to the beach with a car. Largest town on the island, Fira, is about 6 km away.
