How many days to spend in Santorini?

When planning a trip to Santorini, it is worth planning the right length of stay. If you want to visit most of the interesting places, walk along tourist trails, as well as spend some time on the beaches, we recommend a minimum stay of 7-10 days (or more).

    • Sunbathing on one of the beaches on the caldera side (e.g., Caldera Beach)
    • An evening walk in Megalochori

If you only want to visit the main attractions, 3 to 4 days would be optimal.

A day trips to Santorini are organised from nearby (e.g., Mykonos) and a little further away (e.g., Crete) islands. In our opinion, this is far too short and not much can be seen in this time.
