The Church of Saint Nicholas is located near the town of Megalochori and is picturesquely situated on the edge of the caldera, on the scenic route called “Heart of Santorini”, leading from Megalochori to the thermal springs of Plaka.
The single-nave, whitewashed church is built into the wall of the caldera. It is topped by a distinctive triple bell tower.
The area around the church is a fantastic place to watch a breath-taking Santorini sunset.
