Thermes Beach in Santorini is located on the south-west coast of the island, near the village of Megalochori.
Infrastructure
It is a disorganized beach. There is no infrastructure, no restaurants, tavernas, sunbeds or toilets.
The beach is not very wide as it is located right below a steep, high cliff. Its surface is rocky, therefore, when going to this beach, it is worth taking a thicker blanket or a towel to sit on.
To get to the beach, you will have to work a bit, because the path that leads to it is steep, so comfortable shoes will be needed. Nevertheless, the effort will be compensated by beautiful views.
Attractions
Although the beach does not offer any additional attractions, several of them can be found in the near distance. Less than a hundred meters from the beach are the remains of a former church carved into the cliff. About 850 meters from the beach there is a local vineyard where you can enjoy wine and food tasting. Several hotels can be found in the area over the beach. About 1.5 km from the beach, is the Lost Atlantis Experience museum. There you can learn about the myth of Atlantis. Why Atlantis? Because Santorini is one of the historically proposed locations.
