Natural environment
This beach consists of sand and gravel and is separated from the mainland by cliffs with magnificent rock formations. In the water you can come across rocks and sea urchins, so we advise against bathing without proper footwear.

Although the food at Theros Wave Bar is not the cheapest in Santorini, it is worth every cent according to customer reviews. An interesting proposition is the possibility to eat the ordered meals on the beach itself. Sun loungers and umbrellas cost 15 euros per day, free of charge in the evenings.
How to get here
A winding road to the beach leads along deserted fields and meadows. There is a parking lot at the end of it. Public transport does not reach these regions of the island. To get here, you need to rent a car or use the local taxis. The route from the island’s capital – Fira takes 15-20 minutes. The distance between Theros and Akrotiri is only 4.5 km, while Oia is on the other side of Santorini, just over 20 km from the beach.

Due to the secluded nature of the beach and the good opinions about the restaurant, many couples decide to organize wedding parties here, or even outdoor wedding ceremonies.
