Yes, there is an airport on Santorini. Santorini’s airport has been in operation since 1972 and has undergone a major refurbishment in recent years.

The airport is located between the villages of Kamari and Monolithos, approximately 5 km from the island’s capital. Despite its relatively small size, Santorini Airport is one of the busiest airports in Greece. It serves both domestic and international flights. It is regularly served by airlines such as Ryanair, Olympic Air and Aegean Airlines. In 2019, the airport handled more than 2.3 million passengers. The airport has one runway with a length of 2197 m (7208 ft).

The airport is well equipped with all the necessary facilities and services, including a duty-free shop, currency exchange, restaurants and cafés, shops. There are also car rental companies and a taxi rank at the airport. The airport is open all year round, with the peak tourist season between May and October. During this time, the airport is usually quite crowded and there are long queues at the check-in counters.
